“Carmel, California” celebrates the incredible tenacity of life.  An ancient and intricate tree clings to life on a cliff edge, facing severe winds and eroding sands with determination and courage.

The photographer captured the essence of life in a composition that cannot fail to move the viewer.  The detail on this image is incredible!  Many monitors will not capture the complexity or depth of image.

This tree, which we believe to be an old Spruce, was discovered in lovely Carmel, California, while the artist was walking along the beach.  Carmel is nestled between Big Sur and Pebble Beach in Northern California.		 RSP 03

Carmel was photographed from a hiking trail along the California north coast.

This copyrighted photograph is 10” wide and 8” high.  It comes matted in an aluminum frame that is 14” x 12”. It weighs about 1.5 pounds.
